6th win in a row at Wolves
On this day in 2025 Forest beat Wolves 3–0 to make it six Premier League wins in a row.
Nottingham Forest’s 3–0 win at Wolves carried the feel of a side no longer just enjoying a good spell, but forcing the Premier League to take notice.
Morgan Gibbs-White opened the scoring against his former club after a sharp counter-attack. He drove forward, slipped the ball to Anthony Elanga and took the return pass before his deflected first-time finish found the bottom-right corner, setting the tone for a clinical Forest performance at Molineux.
Chris Wood made it 2–0 before half-time, side-footing in after Callum Hudson-Odoi’s run and pull-back from the left. Wolves had chances, but Matz Sels and the Forest defence protected the lead before Taiwo Awoniyi added the third in stoppage time from James Ward-Prowse’s setup.
The result gave Forest a sixth straight Premier League victory and moved them level on points with second-placed Arsenal. For supporters, the scoreline mattered, but the wider feeling mattered more: Forest looked organised, dangerous and unusually calm in a part of the table few had expected them to occupy.
