Fan Advisory Board applications open
On this day in 2023 Forest open applications for their Fan Advisory Board.
Nottingham Forest opened applications for supporters to join the club’s Fan Advisory Board for the 2023-24 season.
The announcement followed the launch of the club’s Fan Engagement Plan and gave the new structure a practical next step. Supporters were invited to apply for places on a board designed to create more regular dialogue between fans and the club.
For many supporters, this kind of development mattered because it moved engagement beyond occasional statements or matchday feedback. A Fan Advisory Board offered a more formal setting for issues such as ticketing, accessibility, matchday experience, communication and long-term supporter concerns.
The timing also reflected a wider Premier League shift after the introduction of the Fan Engagement Standard. Forest’s FAB became part of the club’s attempt to show that supporters had a clearer route into structured conversations about decisions affecting the fanbase.
