Happy birthday Emmanuel Dennis! (born 1997)
On this day in 1997 Emmanuel Dennis is born in Yola, Nigeria.
Emmanuel Dennis was born in Yola, Nigeria, on 15 November 1997.
A Nigeria international forward, Dennis joined Nottingham Forest from Watford in August 2022, shortly after Forest’s return to the Premier League. He arrived during a major squad rebuild as the club tried to adjust quickly to life back in the top flight.
Dennis made 25 appearances for Forest, but never became a regular long-term starter. After loan spells with İstanbul Başakşehir, Watford and Blackburn Rovers, his time at the City Ground ended in August 2025 when Forest confirmed the mutual termination of his contract.
Dennis’s Forest career was brief and uneven, but his arrival still belongs to the club’s modern Premier League era, when Forest were rebuilding fast after promotion.
