Nuno wins March manager award
On this day in Nottingham Forest history in 2025 Nuno wins March Premier League Manager of the Month.
Nuno Espírito Santo was named Premier League Manager of the Month for March 2025, adding another individual honour to Nottingham Forest’s outstanding season.
The award recognised a month in which Forest continued to defy expectations near the top end of the Premier League. For a club that had spent much of its modern top-flight life concerned with survival, repeated managerial recognition marked a clear change in tone.
It was Nuno’s third Premier League Manager of the Month award of the 2024-25 season. That detail made the honour more than a one-off acknowledgement. It showed that Forest’s form had been sustained across the campaign rather than built on a short burst.
For supporters, the award reflected what they were already feeling week by week: Forest had become one of the season’s major stories. The table, the performances, and the outside recognition were all pointing in the same direction.
