Forest were involved in a chaotic Championship afternoon as they drew 4–4 away to Blackpool.

Blackpool led 2–0 before Forest fought back through Dexter Blackstock and Gary Gardner, whose direct free kick made it 2–2. After Steve Davies restored Blackpool’s lead, Henri Lansbury equalised from the penalty spot, and Chris Burke then put Forest 4–3 ahead in stoppage time from Danny Fox’s assist.

The game still had one final twist. David Ferguson headed in from a corner deep into added time, denying Forest the away win and completing the eight-goal draw.

The result was more memorable for its scoreline than for its wider season impact. For Forest, it captured the uneven nature of the campaign: enough attacking quality to score four times away from home, but not enough control to turn a wild away match into three points.
