Majewski brilliant volley sinks Brom
On this day in Nottingham Forest history in 2010 Radosław Majewski scores a brilliant volley as Forest beat West Brom 3–1.
Radosław Majewski gave Nottingham Forest one of their most replayed modern goals with a brilliant volley in a 3–1 Championship win at West Bromwich Albion.
Forest were already ahead through Dexter Blackstock when Majewski produced the moment that made the night memorable. From a difficult angle, he struck a clean volley that fizzed past Scott Carson and turned a good away performance into something supporters would keep talking about.
Chris Cohen added Forest’s third soon afterwards, finishing a slick move down the right that involved quick one-touch passing. The burst after half-time changed the match completely, and although West Brom later pulled one back, Forest had already done the damage.
The goal mattered because of how it looked as much as what it meant. Majewski’s technique, the angle, and the speed of the strike made it stand apart from the usual run of Championship goals. Forest won 3–1, climbed to second, and left The Hawthorns with a highlight that still feels fresh whenever it is shown again.
